When a dragon reached maturity, it chose a single human - a soul it recognized. From that moment, the dragon became a Soul Guardian, offering protection and guidance, while the human carried the dragon's crystal as a bond between worlds. These chosen ones were known as the Dragonfolk.

The Crystalwood Dragon still exists. It sleeps, its eyes closed in quiet watchfulness. Its crystal holds ancient memory, protection, and calm, enduring strength. The dragon does not seek, it waits.
